The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and Jaguar F-Pace SVR are two of the most remarkable performance SUVs on the market and TheStraightPipes recently drove the two back-to-back.
The straight-line performance advantage clearly goes to the Trackhawk. Jeep’s most crazed Grand Cherokee features FCA’s iconic 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine and churns out no less than 707 hp and 645 lb-ft (873 Nm) of torque, allowing it to sprint to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds while running down the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds at 180 mph (289 km/h).
By comparison, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR is outfitted with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 that’s good for 542 hp and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque. It can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.3 seconds and a 176 mph (283 km/h) top speed.

However, figures only tell part of the story and in many other regards, the Jaguar has the Trackhawk beat. Most notably, it has a much nicer interior that includes a Head-Up Display and an all-digital gauge cluster. Handling wise, the F-Pace also has the Trackhawk’s number and corners with much less body roll and better precision.
Styling is, of course, subjective so it’s hard to give the edge to one over the other although to our eyes, the Jaguar is just more refined yet still hugely aggressive. It also looks especially nice in the bright blue paint scheme featured.
