With a production run limited to just 600 units, this special edition Porsche Cayenne S Transsyberia model is more than just any regular first-generation Cayenne.

These SUVs were built to celebrate the German carmaker’s triumphs in the Transsyberia Rally and feature off-road equipment such as front and rear skid plates, rock rails, an engine-bay guard and a locking rear differential.

This particular 2010 model is being auctioned off through Bring a Trailer, with 101,000 miles (162,000 km) on its 405 HP 4.8-liter V8 engine, which comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

As you may have noticed by now, it’s finished in a similar fashion to the actual Transsyberia SUVs, featuring a black exterior with orange accents on the sides, mirror casings and liftgate spoiler. Other mods include the five-spoke 18-inch wheels and All Terrain T/A K02 tires, while the air suspension and PASM system came as standard.

Inside, you’ll mostly find black leather and Alcantara, the latter being inserted on the seats, and wrapped all around the heated steering wheel. Meanwhile, orange accents adorn the dashboard, floor mats and door panels. There are also orange gauges with Transsyberia branding, for good measure.

Even though it isn’t exactly a collector’s item, the special edition Cayenne could mean more to some potential buyers than other contemporary versions, although you can definitely buy faster models such as the Turbo or the Turbo S if your goal is to be really quick in a straight line, even by today’s standards.
