AC Schnitzer is offering a preview of its tuning program for the all-new BMW 1 Series F40, targeting owners who want to have their compact premium hatch with some extra pizzazz.

The German tuner has already released the first batch of tuning parts and is showcasing them on the range-topping BMW 1 Series model, the M135i. For the sporty front-wheel-drive hatch, AC Schnitzer has prepared a sharper aero kit consisting of a roof spoiler (for models equipped with the M rear spoiler from the factory), rear skirt protection foil and AC Schnitzer emblems on the side sills.

The aftermarket specialist also offers a spring kit that lowers the ride height by 25-35 mm (1-1.4 in) compared to standard specification.

The lower suspension is complemented by 19-inch AC1 Light Alloy Wheels, available in BiColor or Anthracite finishes and shod with 225/35 R19 tires. Rounding out the exterior upgrades are the AC Schnitzer tailpipes in Sport Chrome or Sport Black, complete with 1- and 2-flow silencer systems.

As for the interior, the tuner is keeping things simple by offering several aluminum parts including the gearshift paddles, pedals, footrest, and key holder.

Later on, AC Schnitzer will complete the tuning package for the BMW 1 Series F40 with new accessories. On the outside, those will include a front splitter (for cars without M-Technik) and rear roof wing (for cars without M rear spoiler), as well as a sports rear silencer for the M135i with two tailpipes in Sport Carbon, Sport or Sport black finishes.

Also part of the offer will be a 30 mm (1.2 in) lower sports suspension and a power upgrade for the M135i.
