Dramatic footage has surfaced out of Syria showing an armored personnel carrier used by Turkish-backed Syrian forces chasing down and ramming a T-72 tank used by forces associated with Syrian dictator Bashar Al Assad.

The Drive reports that the altercation between the two took place on February 20 and occurred in a field to the west of the town of Nerab in Syria’s Idlib province.

Footage captured from a drone flying above the scene starts out by showing the tank sitting on a road in a large field, engaging some unseen targets. Before long, the operator of the drone zooms out and captures the moment an armored personnel carrier is speeding through the field, swerving between trees, and heading straight for the tank.

It is claimed the personnel carrier is a Turkish-made ACV-15, a derivative of the U.S. Armored Infantry Fighting Vehicle. The operators of the vehicle clearly had little concern with the threat posed by the tank and decided the best way to go up against it would be to head right at it.

As the ACV-15 gets within just a few dozen feet of the tank, the T-72 starts to spin, attempting to chase the personnel carrier but the vehicle used by the Turkish-backed Syrian forces is too quick for the tank and is able to spin around and slam directly into the tank, pushing it up the road and forcing the tank to flee in a plume of smoke. Before long, the personnel carrier makes a run for it and returns into the trees, speeding away from the tank that it appears to have damaged.
