Looks aside, the McLaren Senna is an absolute weapon and a fitting tribute to the latest Ayrton Senna. However, if McLaren decided to launch a tribute to the skilled F1 driver one year after his 1994 death, what could such a car have looked like?
Designer Abimelec Design decided to base his Senna tribute car on the McLaren F1 LM of the day and has overhauled it with a unique aerodynamics package that would have made it even faster around a race track.

Adorning the front end of the iconic British supercar is a more pronounced front splitter and a set of sharp canards on either side of the bumper. Air vents have also been fitted to either side of the headlights. Compared to an ordinary F1 LM, we think these additions look a little strange but they’re certainly not as offensive as the actual McLaren Senna unveiled a couple of years ago.
Move to the sides of the 1995 McLaren Senna and you’ll notice new bodywork applied directly behind the front wheels. Speaking of the wheels, they include silver rims and gold spokes. Take a peek inside the cabin and you will also see a gold roll cage.
Minimal changes have been to the rear fascia and include a sharp carbon fiber rear diffuser and re-located tailpipes. The designer also went to the trouble of rendering the car in a number of different colors. We think the silver example looks the best.
