Lexus has updated its UX small luxury SUV for the new model year by giving it new features that focus on style, safety and connectivity.
The former includes the addition of the Cobalt option inside, which combines the black and blue trim with white and blue upholstery stitching. The F Sport with Premium Plus or Takumi packs can be ordered with the new F White exclusive interior look, with white leather on the seats and black stripes, as well as black leather on the instrument panel with white stitching.

In the safety department, all grades can be had with the new Premium Pro Pack option, which brings the contents of the Premium Plus Pack as well as additional features to keep the cost of the car at under £40,000 ($51,572) in the UK. A Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert with automatic braking, LED headlights with Adaptive High-beam, head-up display, Mark Levinson premium audio, power adjustable steering, eight-way power-adjustable front seats and wireless smartphone charger are all included. Meanwhile Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have become standard across the range.
Finally, the safety gear of the 2020 UX can be enhanced by adding the new Lexus Driver Assist Pack. It’s offered as standard as part of the Premium Plus Pack, or for an extra £745 ($961) when specified together with the Premium Pack option, and brings the Intelligent Clearance Sonar System, in addition to the Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert with automatic braking.
The UX 250h hybrid soldiers on with the same self-charging powertrain, which combines the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with one or two electric motors. The 181 HP output is identical in both models, with the only difference being whether it’s front- or all-wheel drive.
