Mike Vetter, owner of The Car Factory is known for building all types of weird and/or futuristic one-of-a-kind concepts, some of which even end up in movies. One such example being the Joker’s car from Suicide Squad.
Speaking of DC Comics characters, it’s no wonder that this particular vehicle, dubbed Slash, would be associated with Bruce Wayne/Batman by onlookers. It is currently on sale on eBay for the hefty price of $89,000.
According to the ad, Vetter is asked “all the time” if this car is the new Batmobile, which is quite a strong public endorsement for its aggressive and angular design.

With the Slash, Vetter wanted to create a car that looked more like a Street Rod when viewed from the front, but something more exotic rather, when seen from the rear – a best of both worlds type of thing.
While the ad doesn’t specify, judging by the interior (not just the ‘Vetter’ name), underneath all that custom bodywork is a C6 Corvette, powered by an LS3 V8 (6.2-liters we presume), mated to an automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The engine is said to produce 450 HP, which is 20 HP more than you get in the regular C6 Corvette.
Other features include the push-button start function, front and rear cameras with dual monitors, the spectacular reverse scissor doors (like you get on the Lykan HyperSport), fully adjustable coilovers, upgraded brakes, dual side exhausts and 20-inch wheels.
While the car has been driven for 1,438 miles (2,314 km), you still get a 12-month warranty to ease your mind.
