Subaru has apparently changed its mind about of facelifting the BRZ, as they are now getting ready to pull the plug on it, but before that happens, they’re launching specials all over the world, including the BRZ Final Edition for the German market.
Set to go on sale this July in a strictly limited number of 100 units with a starting price of €40,270 (equal to $44,700 at current exchange rates), or a hefty €5,680 ($6,310) more than the base Sport grade, it sports a series of upgrades inside and out.
The limited run 2+2 sports coupe is offered in Crystal Black Silica as standard, or Blue Pearl for an extra €100 ($111), while riding on 17-inch wheels and featuring red-finished brake calipers and Sachs shock absorbers.

In the cockpit, users will find leather and Alcantara-wrapped front seats in blue and black, black rear seats and blue stitching on the multi-function steering wheel, instrument panel, door cards and gearshift lever. An added badge highlights the limited nature of the car and the BRZ logo on the floor mats rounds up the changes.
Elsewhere, the BRZ Final Edition benefits form the same 7-inch infotainment system as the regular model, six-speaker audio, two USB ports, two-zone climate control, electrically operated and heated side mirrors and LED fog lamps, among others.
It won’t surprise you one bit to learn that power continues to be provided by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer that pushes out 200 PS (197 HP / 147 kW) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque. Output is channeled to the rear wheels through a standard six-speed manual transmission. Customers will also be able to choose the six-speed auto ‘box, although as a €1,700 ($1,888) option.
