If you’ve been paying attention to the multitude of 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray videos and reviews hitting the web lately, you’ll have heard largely good things about the mid-engined sports car. But, is there anything wrong with the new ‘Vette?

No car is perfect and this clip from the owner of a Ceramic Matrix Gray C8 in Ontario, Canada that was discovered by the crew at Corvetteblogger shows that the Corvette does have a slight ‘issue’ when it is washed.

To demonstrate the problem, the owner, who also happens to be a salesman at a Chevrolet dealership, gives it a quick rinse and then opens up the engine bay. When he does so, he discovers that a large amount of water accumulates in the engine bay, seemingly making its way in through to the various vents that are used on the decklid to help keep the 6.2-liter V8 nice and cool.

While it’s not a huge issue, it’s something that C8 owners should be aware of and know to dry up the area before setting off.

In the latter half of the video, the owner also shows just how surprisingly practical the new Corvette can be thanks to its generous storage areas both in the front and at the rear. He is able to fit a full set of golf clubs in it as well as a handful of soft duffel bags, a carry-on size suitcase, and a number of other small things.
