1016 Industries Lamborghini Huracan Evo Is Bathed In Forged Carbon Fiber

The tuning minds over at 1016 Industries have unveiled their new take on the Lamborghini Huracan Evo. Billed as the first fully forged carbon fiber Evo, the car features a new front splitter and a carbon hood which is 8 lbs (3.6 kg) lighter than the stock component.

Looking quite more aggressive than the stock Evo, the Italian supercar has been equipped with new front fenders that feature vents inspired by the Super Trofeo racer. The change isn’t just for styling’s sake as the fenders are stronger than the originals while also weighing 11 lbs (5 kg) less.

Out back, there’s a carbon fiber rear wing that promises to provide more stability at high speeds. Customers can also upgrade to an HD rear wing that features a proprietary shear web inside. 1016 Industries says it allows the wing to be “very” thin and light, yet strong enough to handle speeds up to 250 mph (402 km/h).

Rounding out the highlights are a new rear diffuser and a stainless steel exhaust system that promises to reduce weight. Customers can refine the looks even further as the model will be offered in “regular and widebody forms with forged and twill carbon options.”

On the performance front, the car’s 5.2-liter V10 engine has been upgraded to produce an extra 20 hp (15 kW / 20 PS) and 19 lb-ft (26 Nm) of torque. This increases the output to 651 hp (485 kW / 660 PS) and 462 lb-ft (626 Nm).

The company didn’t say how fast the model is, but the standard Huracán Evo can rocket from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 202 mph (325 km/h).
