Americans love big pickup trucks and this monstrous 1997 Ford F-350 Centurion available from Bring A Trailer is one of the biggest we’ve seen. Unsurprisingly, it is located in Texas, a state that adores larger than life pickups.

As standard, F-350 models are absolutely massive but this one is even larger than most as it has been extensively modified by Centurion Vehicles with an extended crew cab, a fold-out bed, flared rear fairings, a 50-gallon auxiliary fuel tank, and more. With much of the country under strict lockdown orders, this truck could perhaps be the perfect home-away-from-home.

Powering the truck is a gargantuan 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 engine driving all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. We have no idea how much this thing weighs but suspect that not even a 7.3-liter engine is enough to make it particularly fast.

A host of custom interior features make the truck special. For example, there are bespoke front seats that look more like lounge chairs than normal car seats. In addition, there is a custom wooden center console with a built-in TV and VCR player for rear-seat passengers and complete with heated and cooled cupholders. There’s even a Whistler radar detector but with the speedometer only going up to 85 mph (137 km/h), we doubt the detector has got much use. At the rear, the plush bench seat can be folded out into a bed.

Mileage sits at a touch over 201,000 miles (323,478 km) and at the time of writing the vehicle had attracted a highest bid of $5,250 with seven days left in the auction.
