The world is facing a deadly new pandemic, but one scourge continues to wreck havoc unabated.
We are, of course, talking about Ford Mustang owners who can’t stop crashing even though Cars and Coffee events have been canceled.
The latest incident apparently happened in California where a large group of cars blocked off a rural stretch of road and preformed donuts in an intersection.

While there’s obviously a lot of stupidity going on here, things culminate at the 8:20 mark. As you can see, a sixth-generation Mustang is hogging the intersection while a fourth-generation pony car impatiently waits nearby.
After holding back for a bit, the driver of the Mustang convertible decides to just go for it. This is a stupid and reckless decision as it means two amateur drivers are performing donuts in close proximity.
What happens next isn’t too surprising as cars crash into one another head on. However, both models appear to have escaped relatively unharmed.
The California Highway Patrol arrived a few minutes later and broke up the makeshift event. While it remains unclear if anyone was ticketed, it’s a good thing police arrived as multiple people were almost hit while attempting to film the meetup.
Needless to say, this shouldn’t have happened especially now. California is under lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic and events where people gather present an opportunity for the virus to spread. Of course, common sense isn’t so common.
