Porsche Classic is bringing older models up-to-date as they have unveiled two new infotainment systems.
Designed to seamlessly blend into the interior of classic Porsche vehicles, the infotainment systems are available in two different setup ups.
The first is known as the PCCM and it has been designed for classic cars with DIN-1 radio slots. As a result, it can be installed on 911s ranging from the F models of the 1960’s to the 993 models of the mid-90’s. The company also noted “use in earlier front- and mid-engine models is also possible.”

Given the size restrictions, the infotainment system features a small 3.5-inch touchscreen display. It also has two rotary knobs and six buttons that provide access to commonly used functions such as phone, media and navigation.
Despite its small size, the infotainment system features Apple CarPlay and the ability to receive digital radio stations. It has AUX, Bluetooth and USB connectivity as well as an SD card slot.
The PCCM Plus is more modern as it’s a DIN-2 unit designed for the 911 (996) and first-generation Boxster (986). It features a larger 7-inch display as well as all the features from the smaller infotainment system. It also comes with support for Android Auto.
The infotainment systems are currently available for order and they come in retro-themed boxes, which is an interesting touch. In Europe, pricing starts at €1,439.89 for the PCCM and €1,606.51 for the PCCM Plus.
