With its muscled up American looks, potent powertrains and affordable price tag, the sixth-gen Ford Mustang has been a hit with petrol heads and curbs everywhere, as proved by the 102,090 deliveries globally in 2019, which afforded it the title of the world’s best selling sports car for the fifth year in row.
The tuned Mustang GT Convertible you see pictured here comes to us all the way from Europe. Its owner modded the car’s appearance with a new front apron, side skirt extensions and panels, rear diffuser and custom hood with a big air scoop, all of them made from carbon fiber.
As you can tell by the slammed looks in the photos, it also features an adjustable air suspension and rides on Ferrada’s FR3 wheels. They are 10.5×20-inch in size on both axles, have a machined silver finish and red lug nuts that complement the exterior paint of the car.

We’re not told if any modifications were made to the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine. In standard spec, it’s no fire-spitting monster like the new Shelby GT500, which boasts a whopping 760 HP from the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 and 0-60 mph (96 km/h) deployed in just 3.5 seconds. Still, it does produce 435 HP and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque, which lets the muscle car sprint to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds.
As usual, the Texas wheelmaker’s latest project is accompanied by an artsy video, which portrays the Mustang Convertible, with German license plates, in a beautiful landscape in Austria. It also kept it civilized, bar a burnout at the end that put the spotlight on those shiny new wheels.
