If true off-roaders get your heart racing, then you won’t feel under the weather anymore after checking out this Land Rover Defender.

The NAS (North American Secification) 1993 example comes from East Coast Defender (ECD), which named it the Project Alpine Yeti and gave it a new lease on life, before proceeding with the aftermarket upgrades that sound like they suit it like a glove.

Finished in Alpine White and equipped with black exoskeleton, over fenders, bulbar and snorkel, it gets a winch up front and trail lights. The 16-inch steel wheels are shod in beefy all-terrain tires from BFGoodrich, and the 27-year old truck also rocks a 2-inch lift kit, with aftermarket shocks and springs, and upgraded brakes.

The latter is a must-have for this D110 project, which has ditched the original V8 for a 2.8-liter Cummins four-cylinder diesel engine that works in conjunction with a Dodge eight-speed automatic transmission.

Inside, it boasts a few subtle upgrades that make it more comfortable for everyday use. The custom center console with rear air vents, infotainment system, new steering wheel and two-tone leather upholstery are all part of the build.

Unlike some of their previous projects, this one does not feature the inward facing jump seats in the load area, so there is plenty of room for luggage. And if the owner doesn’t travel light, then they can also use the roof rack for additional storage. Getting to the roof is done by using the ladder placed next to the rear door.

The only thing wrong with this build is that it’s not accompanied by more images, but this time, ECD has also dropped a video that talks about the upgrades, so you know what to do from this point on.
