Audi of America is keen on helping its customers get by during these difficult times, and has decided to extend coverage for both new vehicles as well as certified pre-owned models for three more months.

So if you own an Audi with a New Vehicle Limited Warranty or a Certified pre-owned Limited Warranty that’s set to expire anytime between March 1, 2020 and May 31, 2020, you’ll get an additional three months of stress-free maintenance.

These extensions are automatic and require no action by the owner of the car. However, if the New Vehicle Limited Warranty or Certified pre-owned Limited Warranty expire due to mileage rather than time, no extension will be provided.

“We are continuing to support our customers during this time of uncertainty,” said Audi of America senior VP of product quality, technical service and after sales, Jamie Dennis. “We want to ensure peace of mind for our customers and this is one small step to offer support where it may be needed.”

Through its Audi Financial Services entity, the German carmaker has also announced an extension to customer payment relief options, aiding those struggling to make payments as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program remains in place through June 1, with customers strongly encouraged to request payment assistance or extend their lease agreement if need be.

Audi’s finance branch is also offering 0% APR for 66 months on most new 2019 models, as well as 0% APR for 72 months on select new 2019 models – with the first month’s payment deferred for 60 days on new 2019 and 2020 vehicles.
