A low-mileage 2018 Ford GT will be sold by Mecum Auctions at its Indy 2020 event running from July 10-18.

This particular GT has never been titled or registered, meaning the winning bidder will be the first registered owner, making it perfect for those on the waiting list for a GT but willing to pay a premium to skip the queue. Its odo shows just 34 miles (55 km), meaning it’s probably been locked away in a garage until the moment it could be sold after the two-year no-sale contract with Ford had expired.

Adorning the exterior of the mid-engined supercar is a red paint scheme with white racing stripes. A paint protection film has been applied across the exterior and the car is also sitting on a set of carbon fiber, 10-spoke wheels with titanium lug nuts and rolling on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Inside, the GT features a set of black Alcantara carbon fiber racing seats from Sparco alongside a host of exposed carbon fiber parts. There is also a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster and a 6.5-liter infotainment display that includes navigation and Bluetooth.

Powering the Ford GT is a race-bred 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 delivering 647 HP and 550 lb-ft (745 Nm) of torque that’s mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The GT can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in under 3 seconds and reach a 216 mph (348 km/h) top speed.

Mecum Auctions hasn’t listed a pre-auction estimate for the car, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it sell for more than $1 million.
