The new 2021 Ford Bronco is inching closer to becoming a reality and this video posted up by The Bronco Nation shows Ford putting it to the test during development.
This clip shows camouflaged versions of both the two-door and five-door Bronco tackling some exceptionally muddy off-road tracks without a worry in the world. Anyone who has been off-roading will know that maintaining traction through mud and water crossings can be extremely difficult but the Bronco appears to get the job done quite easily.
One particularly interesting moment in the video comes at the 25-second mark when a five-door Bronco is making a sharp turn around some trees. We can see the off-roader’s advanced four-wheel drive system locks up the inside rear wheel while sending power to the front wheels to allow it to make the turn.

It’s evident that the short front and rear overhangs will also provide the Bronco with good approach and departure angles.
Ford was planning to unveil the all-new Bronco back on March 17 but that date was pushed back due to the coronavirus. While it remains to be seen just when we will see the new off-roader, images leaked from the Ford factory have already provided us with a very good look at the exterior styling of the Bronco.
At the front, the off-roader includes circular headlights and daytime running lights as well as a prominent front grille with a Bronco badge. It all looks very serious. In news that’s also bound to excite the adventurous types, the Bronco will have a removable roof just like the Jeep Wrangler.
