The previous-gen Toyota Supra is an icon with immense tuning potential. Some examples have been modified to the point that they rock more power than the mighty Bugatti Veyron, and it so just happens that this is one of them.

The legendary 2JZ engine, which barely scratched the 320+ surface when the car first came out, has been drastically upgraded. The video uploader claims that it is capable of laying down some jaw-dropping numbers: 1,239 HP and 826 lb-ft (1,120 Nm) of torque – and we do believe it, after seeing what the ride is capable of.

A true symphony on wheels, the car hit the 60 mph (96 km/h) mark in a blink of an eye from a standstill, rendering the rev counter useless. After shifting into a higher gear, the vehicle was already traveling at almost 135+ mph (220 km/h). Mind you, all of this happened quicker than you can say ‘the new Supra is nowhere near as cool as the A80’, and before you know it, the speedometer was reading well over 186 mph (300 km/h).

The ease with which the rev counter hits the redline and the speedometer displays those amazing numbers is something that you absolutely have to see to believe. Oh, and the sound is not that bad either…
