Hennessey claims that with their 800 tuning kit, the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado is the most powerful bowtie truck of its kind.

Suitable for the 6.2-liter V8 engine, which pumps out 420 HP at 5,600 rpm and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) of torque at 4,100 rpm, the kit adds a 2.9-liter supercharger, high-flow intercooler and air induction system, custom camshaft, software tune and a few other items.

Subsequent to the professional installation, which is included courtesy of the Texan tuner, and with 93-octane gasoline in the fuel tank, this V8 is capable of pumping out a very impressive 700 HP at 6,300 rpm. Nevertheless, this Silverado has embraced other mods too, which have lifted the output to around 800 horses. That’s almost double compared to stock, so it does have the grunt to take a swing at the most exclusive and expensive high riders out there, in theory at least.

Besides the standard Hennessey and Goliath 800 logos, serial-numbered dashboard and engine plaques or the special embroidery in the headrests, this truck can also be ordered with a custom Goliath front bumper that incorporates five LED lights. The 6-inch (152 mm) lift kit is also optional, alongside the 20-inch 10-spoke wheels wrapped in 35-inch Toyo off-road tires, and the Hennessey and Goliath exterior graphics. The custom hood, electronic side steps and bed cover, stainless steel exhaust system and diamond-stitched interior can also be specified.

Now it’s time for this heavily modified 2020 Silverado to put its money where its mouth is and hop on the dyno.
