The teaser campaign for the 2021 Ford Bronco is kicking into high gear as the company has released new pictures and a video of the upcoming SUV.

Set to be unveiled on July 13th, the 2021 Bronco will have a retro-inspired front fascia with circular headlights that recall the ones used on the original model. However, they’ll use LED technology and feature turn signals that flow into the grille.

Speaking of the grille, it swaps “Ford” lettering for prominent “Bronco” badging. It also has a black surround which wraps around the headlights.

Besides the video, Ford released a couple of pictures which provide a better look at the Bronco’s mirrors, fender flares and front bumper. We can also see a pair of meaty off-road tires.

Of course, the rest of the model isn’t much of a mystery as it has been leaked multiple times and even spotted undisguised during a photoshot. Those pictures revealed slab-sided bodywork, vertical taillights and a removable hardtop that mimics the Jeep Wrangler.

As you’re undoubtedly aware, the 2021 Bronco will be based on the Ranger and feature at least two different engines. The entry-level unit is slated to be a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 270 hp (201 kW / 274 PS) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque, while fans should also be able to upgrade to a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 pumping out 325 hp (242 kW / 330 PS) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque.

Since the Bronco promises to be hardcore off-roader, it be offered with a seven-speed manual that features a crawler gear. A ten-speed automatic is also expected and so are locking differentials and an electronic sway bar disconnect.

One of the biggest unknowns is pricing, but Ford will begin accepting reservations for $100 following its debut.
