Hyundai has dropped a series of renderings showcasing the upcoming Elantra N-Line that will give the sedan some sporty new looks and improved performance.
Distinguishing the Elantra N-Line, also set to be sold as the i30 Sedan N-Line in some markets such as Australia, is a unique version of Hyundai’s cascading front grille that provides the car with an expressive new face. On either side of this large grille are distinctive air intakes while sitting on the grille itself is an N Line badge.

Hyundai’s designers have also penned new silver and black 18-inch wheels as well as subtle side skirt extensions finished in gloss black. Other modifications made include new wing mirrors, enlarged brakes, twin tailpipes, a subtle trunklid lip spoiler, and a rear diffuser.
“Elantra N Line offers a more aggressive design that incorporates N Line’s signature red accents inside and out at an attractive price,” head of product division at the Hyundai Motor Group, Thomas Schemera said. “This will definitely satisfy those who are looking to join the Hyundai N community.”
The automaker has not confirmed powertrain details for the Elantra N-Line other than confirming back in April that it will have a turbocharged engine. There is a good chance this will be the same 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder as the Elantra GT N Line hatchback (also sold as the i30 N Line) that is good for 201 hp and offered with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch powering the front wheels. Hyundai will likely make a series of chassis changes to improve the car’s handling.
The Hyundai Elantra N-Line can be expected to premiere in the coming months.
