Two men have been arrested by police in Florida after leading police on a high-speed chase.
Authorities from Marion County observed a silver 2015 Hyundai Elantra being driven on Sunday, July 5 and following a computer check, it was determined that the vehicle was stolen. Deputy Samantha Horne as well as a Belleview Police Department officer quickly attempted a traffic stop but the driver of the Hyundai refused to stop and a police pursuit was initiated.
During the chase and visible on the video below at the 2:15 mark, police successfully deployed a stop stick which the Elantra ran over. Despite this, the driver continued to drive at high speeds when roughly 50 seconds after hitting the spikes, the front left tires of the car exploded and rolled off from the wheel.

Not even this stopped the driver as he continued to drive and attempted to speed through an intersection but ended up T-boning another vehicle. The driver tried to flee but officer Horne used her Ford Explorer and pushed the car into a grass ditch median.
Authorities arrested driver Harley Moore and passenger Harrison Blodnick at the scene.
A report from 4 News Gainesville states that Moore has been charged with grand theft auto, fleeing/elude and possession of drug paraphernalia while Blodnick was charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies found a syringe in the passenger door.
