Head Over To The Lamborghini Museum This Weekend To See The New Sian Roadster

Renamed MUDETEC (Museo Delle Tecnologie) last April, the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy will now be hosting the ultra aggressive-looking all-new Sian Roadster.

The supercar, which was presented earlier this week and is already sold out, will breathe the same air as other exotic bulls from past and present – at least until this Sunday, July 12.

Those who plan to visit the exhibition (open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m) have to know that entry is allowed by advance booking only, as the automaker is promoting social distancing and is constantly disinfecting the museum to ensure visitor safety.

“Automobili Lamborghini reopens its museum, presenting many new developments but importantly, also signaling a partial return to normality”, the automaker said. “Following its closure due to the Covid-19 emergency, the Lamborghini Museum of Technologies – MUDETEC – is reopening its doors today, Friday 10 July, to welcome tourists and enthusiasts of cars and Lamborghini.”

Considered the main attraction of the museum, the Sian Roadster is limited to just 19 examples and follows in the footsteps of its fixed-roof sibling, minus the chopped roof. It makes use of the same 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that works in conjunction with a 48-volt electric motor, developing a total system output of 807 HP (819 PS / 602 kW).

Nought to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes as little as 2.9 seconds, one tenth of a second slower than the Sian FKP 37 Coupe. Top speed however is identical at just a little over 217 mph (350 km/h).
