Two new teaser videos of the long-awaited Maserati Ghibli Hybrid have been shared on Facebook by the Italian car manufacturer ahead of the vehicle’s debut on Thursday, July 16.

The first of the teasers reveals that the classic Maserati trio of small air vents on the front wheel arches will include blue accents as a hint towards the vehicle’s hybrid powertrain. Meanwhile, the second teaser video is more revealing as it provides us with a good idea of how the car’s front fascia will look.

For the most part, the changes up front appear minimal from the current Ghibli model. The car features a very familiar Maserati grille while there are also gaping wide air intakes on the lower portion of the bumper.

We are also offered a glimpse at the headlights which are similar to those of the outgoing Ghibli although they may be a little bit sharper and more aggressive.

Technical specifications regarding the Ghibli Hybrid won’t be known until it’s unveiling. With that being said, the vehicle will most likely be a plug-in hybrid that combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric motor. CarScoops understands the car will pump out roughly 325 hp.

The arrival of a Ghibli Hybrid isn’t the only thing happening with the luxury sedan. Maserati is readying its second facelift for the Ghibli range as a whole that will include revised front and rear fascias as well as some interior updates, including a larger infotainment system that likely has new and improved software.
