Not long after the facelifted BMW 5-Series and M5 were unveiled, a plethora of M Performance Parts have been announced for the premium sedans.
The vast majority of the parts are made from lightweight carbon fiber and kicking things off at the front end is a distinctive splitter and a decorative front grille in carbon or high-gloss black. M Performance has then designed carbon fiber mirror caps, side skirts, and can apply an accent strip in black/silver for the 5-Series or foiling strips for the M5 and M5 Competition.
Found at the rear is high-gloss black bumper trim, a new diffuser available in either carbon fiber or matte black, two carbon fiber lip spoiler options, a high-gloss black lip spoiler, a carbon fuel filler cap, and tailpipe finishers offered in either carbon or chrome.
Elsewhere, M5 and M5 Competition models can be equipped with M Performance sport brake pads, M Performance sport suspension, and an M Performance carbon fiber engine cover. Diesel 5-Series models can also be optioned with an M Performance exhaust.
Four different wheel options are on offer for regular 5-Series models, ranging from 19-inch M Performance forged wheels finished in Jet Black to bicolor 20-inch M Performance multi-spoke wheels. M5 and M5 Competition models have a set of exclusive 20-inch M Performance forged Y-spoke 863 M wheels on offer with a Ferric Grey matte finish.

Rounding out the M Performance Parts are some unique interior trimmings. These include an M Performance steering wheel with either carbon/Alcantara or carbon/leather trim for the 5-Series. There are also M Performance carbon fiber paddles while the M5 and M5 Competition can be fitted with an exclusive ‘Pro’ steering wheel and carbon on the gear shifter. Last but not least are M Performance floor mats and M Performance stainless steel pedals and footrest.
Most of the M Performance Parts will be available for the 5-Series family right after the car’s market launch.
