A 2008 Ford Mustang GT built to mimic the car used in the 2010 film Kick-Ass is up for sale on eBay and at the time of writing, had attracted a highest bid of $28,600 with nine days left in the auction.

Admittedly, the listing is rather perplexing. In the title, the car is listed as an ‘original’ and later states that this is number 3 of just 3 examples built. This could lead customers to believe it was one of the actual film cars but that doesn’t appear to be the case, as the description refers to it as a ‘movie edition replica’ Regardless of its origins, it certainly stands out.

Apparently this Mustang GT started out life as a Hurst Edition model before it was outfitted with a bodykit from Rich Evans. There were allegedly just 100 of these bodykits built and this is said to be the seventh produced. Based on the questionable looks, we’d be shocked if there was any more than a handful of these bodykits in existence.

To mimic the looks of the car from the film, the exterior has been painted Torch Red and complete with matte black striping. The headlights and taillights have also been tinted and the car is rocking a set of 20-inch wheels with Nitto tires.

The eBay listing adds a host of engine modifications have been made, most notably the fitment of a Vortech V-3 supercharger, a Vortech intercooler, and a FlowMaster exhaust that makes the car good for a claimed 650 hp.

As the add itself describes, “If the supercharger wasn’t enough then you can always switch on the 75 shot of nitrous with dual tanks to fly you over any of the tallest buildings.”
