YouTuber and former professional skier Jon Olsson recently had the exclusive opportunity to check out a Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, the ‘regular’ Jesko, and a Gemera.
The Swedish car manufacturer brought the three hypercars to Olsson’s property in Marbella, Spain and lined them up in what truly is a sight to behold. Making the Koenigsegg collection all the more impressive is the fact that a friend of Olsson also brought along his all-carbon Regera.
Koenigsegg took the covers off the Jesko Absolut and the Gemera at March’s canceled Geneva Motor Show. Production of the two has yet to commence and the examples that Olsson had the opportunity to check out seem to be the same ones the company had in Geneva. In the flesh, the Jesko and the Jesko Absolut are briefly talked about, with the Gemera being the focus of most of the video.

There’s little doubt that the Gemera may be the most remarkable family car ever revealed. From the outside, it looks like a hypercar, and while it only has two doors, it is actually a four-seater. What’s particularly impressive about the Gemera is that the rear seats are completely usable and offer excellent leg- and headroom. As if that wasn’t enough, it also has room for four decently-sized suitcases.
Then there is the powertrain. Sitting directly behind the cabin is a compact Freevalve three-cylinder with 600 hp and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. The Gemera also has three electric motors – one for each rear wheel and the third one mounted on the crankshaft of the engine. Koenigsegg says the Gemera will hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 1.9 seconds and is promising a 248 mph (400 km/h) top speed, while prices start at a cool $1.7 million.
