While the coronavirus pandemic has prevented automakers like General Motors from engaging with its fans as much as usual, the automaker has started a series showcasing some notable models from yesteryear.
This latest clip forms part of the ‘Cruisin’ the USA in Your Chevrolet’ online event and showcases an eye-catching 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The car is owned by Performance Parts Products and Marketing & Social Media Manager at Chevrolet, Adrienne Peters, and it is unlike any other Monte Carlo you’ve seen.

Peters purchased the car when she was in college and has modified it extensively. Slotted under the hood is an original LS6 short block V8 engine that has been upgraded with a host of new performance parts. While we don’t know how much power it has, we’re sure it is more than enough for a vehicle of this age.
The exterior of the Monte Carlo looks very sinister thanks to the simple matte black paint and flared wheel arches which, at the rear, house 13.5-inch (342 mm) wide tires, providing the car with an amazing stance on the road. Inside, Peters’ Monte Carlo sports a custom dashboard with black gauges and red backlighting. The classic Chevy also features a three-spoke steering wheel, a roll cage, Sparco racing seats and a Hurst shifter.
