Customers in the UK can now order Fiat’s top-of-the-line Cross version of the Fullback pickup truck.
The Mitsubishi-based Fiat Fullback Cross will be available in the UK market in September, with prices starting from £26,495 (excluding VAT) for the manual six-speed version. An automatic five-speed version is priced from £27,895, excluding VAT.
Power comes from a 2.4-liter turbodiesel unit with 180hp and 317 lb-ft (430Nm). The engine is fully compliant with the Euro 6 standards without the need of using AdBlue. The Fullback Cross comes with a selectable four-wheel drive system that features a Torsen central differential which can be locked at 50-50 front/rear axle split, low-range gears and a lockable rear differential as well.
The Fiat Fullback Cross also comes with model-specific black sport bar, a front grille with black detailing, a satin silver skid plate, black side steps and 17-inch matte black alloy wheels, among others.
The long list of standard equipment includes features like Bi-Xenon headlights, LED DRLs, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, rear parking sensors, soft tailgate opening, and heated leather seats and steering wheel. A seven-inch infotainment system with navigation is also present.
The list of safety features is also impressive and includes electronic stability control, trailer stability assist, lane departure warning (LDW), hill start assist and a traction system with four different modes.
Fiat says that the Fullback Cross is able to transport up to 1.1 tonnes and tow 3,100kg (6,834lbs).
