A rare Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series was recently jacked of its two rear wheels in London.
There were just 500 examples of the CLK 63 AMG Black Series produced and the majority of them reside in the United States. As Motor1 reported, this silver example was parked on a street corner and obviously proved too tempting to ignore for some low-level thieves.
The vandals appear to have used a bottle jack to lift up the rear of the performance-focused two-door. They then removed the rear wheels and set the car down on some bricks. It seems likely the thieves intended on stealing the two front wheels but the car appears to have fallen off the bottle jack, hence why one of the front wheels has been left in a crooked position after being half-removed.

For the sake of the owner, we hope they have a comprehensive insurance policy that will pay for a set of new wheels, as well as any other damage that has been caused. It seems likely that the thieves will probably look to sell the wheels to make some quick and easy cash.
The Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series is beloved by enthusiasts and powered by a 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine with no less than 500 hp at 6,800 rpm and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque at 5,250 rpm. This engine is mated to a SpeedShift 7G-Tronic transmission driving the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.
