Chevrolet has updated its online configuration tool to include the 2021 Corvette Stingray, allowing prospective buyers to create their dream ride.

The car manufacturer kept the changes for 2021 to a minimum, but there are some updates. For example, the mid-engined sports car receives two new colors in the form of Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat and Silver Flare Metallic. There is also a new interior configuration of Sky Cool Grey/Yellow Strike as well as new racing stripes.

The configurator itself isn’t particularly responsive and is quite slow to load once you make any changes. However, if you have a little bit of patience, there are a plethora of options available to make your perfect Corvette stand out from most others. We equipped ours with the 3LT trim package, the Z51 Performance Package, Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat paint, and Carbon Flash-painted aluminum wheels.

Arguably the most significant update made to the Corvette for 2021 is the fact that the Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension can be ordered separately and no longer needs to be coupled to the Z51 Performance Package. Those that do opt for the Z51 pack, however, will also receive a performance exhaust, performance brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential, a unique rear spoiler, front splitter, heavy-duty cooling system and high-performance tires.

Other upgrades for 2021 include standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new Driver mode on-screen visualization and a new track digital tachometer.

Prices for a 2021 Corvette Stingray are identical to the 2020 model and start at $59,995 for the Coupe and $67,495 for the Convertible.
