The driver of a truck has been killed in a shocking hit and run crash in Alabama in October 6.

Dramatic dashcam footage released by the Birmingham Police Department shows a small white vehicle slam into the side of a silver car. The force of this impact sent the silver car into the cab of a truck, pushing the truck directly into the concrete barrier on the side of the highway. The truck can then be seen flying over the edge of the highway, taking with it a black SUV in the process. Both vehicles fell approximately 25 feet onto the I-59/20 northbound below.

CDL Life reports that the 59-year-old driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person involved in the crash was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Despite triggering the devastating crash, the video shows the white vehicle continuing to drive down the highway as if nothing happened.

The Birmingham Police Department hopes that, by releasing this footage, someone will be able to recognize the white vehicle and come forward with more information about the incident.

Video filmed in the aftermath of the crash shows the black SUV that was shoved off the highway landed on its roof on the highway below and hit a pickup truck. We haven’t been able to find any information about the injuries suffered by the driver of the SUV, but the driver of the pickup doesn’t seem to have been injured too badly.
