If you’re a Sacha Baron Cohen fan, things are definitely going well for you from a content perspective. The actor was not only lauded for his performance in ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’ recently, but his latest Borat film is now available through Amazon Prime and it has already attracted plenty of attention (and controversy).

Take for example Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal attorney. He had a somewhat indiscreet encounter with an actor playing Borat’s underage daughter in a hotel room, a prank Giuliani later called a “hit job”.

In any case, Kazakhstan’s famous fictional journalist recently visited the home of YouTuber sensation David Dobrik in Los Angeles, in a bid to further promote his movie, whose full title is ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’.

As he’s pulling into Dobrik’s driveway, Cohen, in character, crashes right into the YouTuber’s Tesla Model X, displacing the driver-side door. This is the part where usually we’d wonder if that’s been staged or not, but we probably all know the answer to that question.

He also damages a gumball machine inside the house later on in the clip, although that was more of a mess than a wreck.

As for the movie he’s promoting, it marks Cohen’s second official outing as Borat. He also felt that his life was at risk multiple times during production, not just because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but also various political protests, rallies and riots he was present for.
