There are just two examples of the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita on earth, and one of them is up for sale from iLusso of Southern California. What’s surprising is that, instead of buying it, you can instead lease it.
In a bid to help sell the rare Koenigsegg, Luxury Lease Partners is offering the car for $24,000 per month with a $650,000 (plus tax) down payment for a 60-month term.
Let that sink in for a second. Over a period of five years, you would spend $1.44 million on lease payments, plus the $650,000 down payment and all relevant taxes. It remains unclear if Luxury Lease Partners will then allow a potential leasee the ability to buy the Swedish hypercar at the end of the lease.

While having $1.44 million in lease payments over five years is a lot, it is significantly less than you’d need to pay in order to lease a Bugatti Chiron Sport. As YouTuber DragTimes recently discovered, it will cost $52,196 a month on a 3-year contract to lease one of the French hypercars, totaling $1.87 million. Alternatively, it could be leased for $65,950 over 24 months for a total of $1.58 million.
Admittedly, the Chiron Sport is much newer than the Koenigsegg, but that doesn’t mean the CCXR Trevita isn’t still an extraordinary performer. In fact, with a twin-supercharged 4.8-liter V8 engine churning out 1,018 hp, it is still significantly faster than most other supercars and hypercars currently on sale.
