Radical conversions never come cheap, but this brute of a 4×4 turned into a pickup by Brabus has a really exorbitant price tag.
Based on the latest Mercedes-AMG G63 and dubbed the Brabus 800 Adventure, it made its premiere at the beginning of the year and is currently on the tuner’s official website for sale.

The asking price is €683,240, or $805,801 at current exchange rates, including tax. The vehicle is brand new and its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 has been tuned to deliver 789 HP (800 PS / 588 kW) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque.
That is a sizeable increase of 212 HP (215 PS / 158 kW) and 111 lb-ft (150 Nm) over the stock G63, obtained by replacing the turbos and re-mapping the engine. According to Brabus, the 800 Adventure XLP maxes out at 130 mph (210 km/h), and will hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 4.8 seconds.
Besides the open bed behind the passenger compartment and the extra oomph, the tuned 4×4 is 27.1 inches (68.9 cm) longer than the G63, with 20 in (50 cm) added between the front and rear wheels. The portal axles are part of the redesign, alongside many suspension components. All in all, Brabus seems to have done a rather thorough job, but still, that’s a lot of money they’re asking for it.
