Lamborghini’s record-breaking Aventador SVJ was recently let loose on the Lausitzring racetrack for an unofficial fast lap.
Coming via AutoBildSportsCars, the video shows the Italian supercar completing the run in 1:28.05, a few tenths of a second quicker than its smaller sibling, the Huracan Evo.
According to the lap times shared by the YouTube channel, the Aventador SVJ beat the Ferrari F8 Tributo by one second and the Porsche 911 Turbo S by almost two seconds. Nonetheless, it could not go anywhere near the stunning Porsche 911 GT2 RS, which posted a time of 1:25.91.

Launched more than two years ago, the Aventador SVJ debuted as the Nurburgring Nordschleife king, having lapped the German circuit in 6:44.97. Its production run was limited to 900 units and it boasts advanced aerodynamics that have improved downforce by 40 percent and reduced drag by 1 percent.
Like all Aventadors, the SVJ is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 which, in this case, produces 770 PS (759 HP / 566 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque at 6,750 rpm. It tips the scales at 1,525 kg (3,362 lbs) dry, which gives it a 1.98kg/PS (4.4lbs) power-to-weight ratio, and has a 43-57 percent front-rear weight distribution and a seven-speed ISR automated manual transmission.
The all-wheel drive supercar, which retailed from $517,700 in the United States, takes only 2.8 seconds to sprint from rest to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) and will run out of breath at over 350 km/h (217 mph).
