Subaru has launched the WRX and WRX STI for the new model year, with pricing starting at $27,495 and $37,245 respectively, excluding destination.
The only novelty represents the introduction of keyless entry and go on the Premium trim level, a feature previously reserved for the WRX Limited.
The lineup kicks off with the base variant, offered with a 6.5-inch infotainment system with smartphone integration and Bluetooth, reversing camera, 5.9-inch multi-info LCD display, USB ports, electrically adjustable side mirrors, automatic climate control and several other amenities.
With additional gear, such as the 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, power moonroof, heated front seats, larger infotainment screen, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, the WRX Premium starts at $30,045.
Building on the Premium, the 2021 WRX Limited adds the steering responsive LED headlights, LED fog lamps and lumbar adjustment for the driver’s seat, from $32,095. This grade can be ordered with the $2,100 option package that adds the Harman Kardon premium sound system and Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

The latter includes Lane Departure and Sway Warning, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Pre-Collision Brake Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Vehicle Start Alert and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Carrying a $250 premium over last year’s entry-level model, the 2021 WRX STI gets a standard 7-inch infotainment system, welcome lighting, all-weather package, keyless entry and go, steering responsive LED headlamps, dual-zone climate control and USB ports. The body-hugging seats are a $2,250 option.
The WRX STI Limited starts at $41,945 and adds a premium audio system from Harman Kardon, Recaro front seats, leather upholstery, power moonroof, Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and a low profile lip spoiler at the back that replaces the wing as a no-cost option.
This sporty model features 19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes and a turbocharged 2.5-liter boxer engine, making 310 HP and 290 lb-ft (393 Nm) of torque. It also comes with all-wheel drive, active torque vectoring and vehicle dynamics control.
