Aznom Palladium Detailed In New Image Gallery, Has It Grown On You Yet?

Aznom has released a new photo gallery of the Palladium, which has to be one of weirdest vehicles to have come out this year.

A mix between a pickup truck, an SUV and a sedan, it is based on the Ram 1500 and packs a 5.7-liter V8 that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive and has been significantly upgraded by the Italian company.

Revisions include two BorgWarner turbos, different pistons, rods and valve springs, rebalanced camshaft and drive shaft, tri-metallic head gasket, more powerful fuel injectors and a redesigned exhaust system . Furthermore, the engine can work on half the cylinders under certain conditions, thus offering improved fuel economy.

With a total output of 710 PS (700 HP / 522 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque, the Palladium needs 4.5 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) and reaches a limited top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph).

Stopping power is provided by Brembo brakes, with 408×34 mm ventilated discs and six-piston calipers up front and 380×28 mm rear discs and four-piston calipers at the rear. The suspension has also been redesigned, with the shock absorbers being made exclusively for the Palladium, which sits 30 mm (1.2 in) closer to the ground compared to the original chassis set-up.

Production of the Palladium will be capped at ten units, with pricing to be announced. Aznom expects the customers to come from the Middle East, Russia, China and the United States.
