The British marque is producing 25 units of the car, all of which have been designed to mimic the DB5 used in James Bond, complete with all the same weird and wacky gadgets. In a video celebrating the first five units being built, Aston Martin shows them deploying their fake guns, fake license plates, and smoke screens.

Each of the DB5 Goldfinger Continuation models being produced are finished in a shade of Silver Birch and powered by a 4.0-liter straight-six engine that producing 290 hp. This engine is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission that sends its power to the rear wheels through a mechanical limited-slip differential. Other key mechanical components include steel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, coilover springs, and dampers with an anti-roll bar at the front and live axle rear suspension.

Aston Martin says that it takes 4,500 hours to build each vehicle and it’s for this reason (among others) that each car commands an asking price of £2.75 million ($3.69 million).

Key gadgets featured in the cars include front and rear battering rams, a rear smoke screen delivery system, a simulated oil slick delivery system, front machine gun replicas, a simulated tire slasher, and a bullet-resistant rear window.
