Every single car to roll out of Koenigsegg’s factory in Sweden is special, but the limited-run One:1 is certainly one of the most remarkable.
Based on the Agera, the One:1 was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014 as the ultimate expression of what a Koenigsegg could be at that time. Just six customer cars were produced, while the carmaker also rebuilt its one and only prototype and then sold it.

The Koenigsegg One:1’s name is derived from its extraordinary 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, as it tips the scales at just 1,360 kg and its 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 delivers 1,360 PS (1,341 hp) at 7,500 rpm and 1,011 lb-ft (1,371 Nm) of torque at 6,000 rpm. Koenigsegg refers to the One:1 as the world’s first ‘megacar’ and in this review from YouTuber Mr JWW, we get to see what the car is capable of around a tight and twisty circuit.
It would be fair to assume that a car with over 1,300 hp would be extremely unruly to drive, but the One:1 doesn’t seem to be like that. Sure, its engine produces a roar unlike any other car on the market and it accelerates like few other vehicles on four wheels but it is actually very maneuverable.
Key to the One:1’s track credentials is the amount of downforce that it produces thanks to the huge carbon fiber rear wing, front splitter, and front canards. It is also sitting on a set of bespoke compound Michelin tires and is just as comfortable taking corners at high speed as it is sprinting down runways at over 400 km/h (248 mph).
