BMW has opened the order books for the new generation M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe in the United Kingdom.
Available solely in the Competition spec, pricing starts at £74,755 ($100,939) for the four-door and £76,055 ($102,694) for the two-door model, and both of them sport plenty of standard gear.
Goodies such as the heated and electrically adjustable front bucket seats, Merino leather upholstery, M-branded steering wheel, carbon fiber trim, wireless charging pad, head-up display, 10.25-inch infotainment system and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are included at no extra cost.

Customers also get LED headlights as standard, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, adaptive suspension and others, whereas for the carbon fiber exterior styling package, 360-degree parking assistant, different wheels and so on, they will have to pay extra.
The new M3 and M4 are powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine, which produces 503 HP (510 PS / 375 kW) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque in the Competition variants.
The engine comes paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, helping both models accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.9 seconds.
Those who would rather change gears by hand will have to wait for BMW to launch the six-speed manual transmission version, with rear-wheel drive. The M-tuned xDrive all-wheel drive system will launch in a few months.
The base models, on the other hand, which are not available yet in Britain, get the same engine, albeit with less power, developing 473 HP (479 PS / 352 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm).
