Nissan has unveiled a facelifted version of the March in Mexico that, unlike Europe’s Micra, which was redesigned in 2016, has been around since 2010.
The 11-year old small hatchback sports a new face, with a bigger V-motion grille, angular headlights, smaller low air intake and different fog lamp housings in the new bumper.
The tailgate was redesigned and no longer protrudes into the bumper that now ends with a diffuser, and the taillights sport new graphics. Other things worth mentioning are the new wheels and two-tone color options that include the front, side and rear pillars, and window surrounds.

Inside, the dashboard panel carries over, but Nissan has updated the center console, which now features a bigger infotainment screen. The flat-bottom steering wheel is also new, and the trim and upholstery revisions round out the looks.
A 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine powers the 2021 March, producing 106 HP and 105 lb-ft (142 Nm) of torque, connected to a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels.
Full details will be announced soon, but Nissan did say that the entry-level variant of the car is offered with six standard airbags, seatbelt reminder for the front seats, ABS, EBD and BA.
Pre-sales started on February 1, and the range kicks off with the Sense, priced from 219,900 pesos (equal to $10,793), followed by the Advance and Exclusive, from 249,900 pesos ($12,265) and 282,900 pesos ($13,885) respectively. All grades can be ordered with either the stick shift or the automatic gearbox, and the lineup also includes the two-tone options of the March Exclusive.
H/T to Dennis!
