The new CT5-V Blackwing may be more advanced and have more power, but if you’re in the market for a V model from Cadillac that’s more practical, we’d suggest looking at this CTS-V Wagon currently up for auction through Bring A Trailer.

This particular CTS-V Wagon is a 2012 model and was purchased new by the seller from Moore Cadillac in Chantilly, Virginia. It is being sold with two extra sets of wheels, a spare sway bar, clean Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title and has 64,000 miles (~103,000 km) on the clock.

Immediately making the car stand out is the Crystal Red Tintcoat paint that accentuates the car’s design. The car is also sitting on a set of black 19-inch aluminum wheels with 255/40 Uniroyal Tiger Paw front tires and 285/35 Bridgestone Potenza S04 Pole Position tires at the rear. Like other CTS-V models there is an adaptive suspension with magnetic dampers. The owner of this car has also fitted Eibach lowering springs, the listing reveals.

While the interior isn’t quite as refined as the CT5-V’s cabin, it still looks to be a nice place to sit, thanks in part to the heated and ventilated leather Recaro front seats finished in Light Titan leather. Key features include a hardwired Escort SmartCord radar detector, dual-zone climate control, navigation system, and the factory stereo with Bluetooth and satellite radio.

Power comes courtesy of a supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 with an AirRaid cold air intake, a Corsa axle-back exhaust, C&R Racing heat exchanger, and a Stage 2 tuning kit from Mont Motorsports that’s mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. At the time of writing, and with three days left into the auction, the highest bid was $22,250.
