Sing your song where Sir Elton John once sang his song from behind the wheel of his 2005 Maserati Quattroporte. The car is going up for auction on February 18 on The Market, a UK online auction house.

This car is more than just still standing after 16 years, having gone less than 30,000 miles in its life. Moreover, since leaving the British singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer in 2016, it has done just 1,000 miles.

Sir Elton is a national treasure and a global superstar, who has impeccable taste when it comes to buying cars,” said Tristan Judge, director, The Market. “Indeed, the car is in excellent condition and has evidentially been treated like a celebrity itself over the years.”

Finished in Verde green, this Pininfarina-designed Maserati is powered by a Ferrari-sourced 4.2-liter V8. It also features some choice, retro features like rear-seat DVD players, inputs for video game systems, and a six-CD autochanger.

“This is a very special opportunity for worlds to collide for enthusiasts of both music and collectible cars, grabbing themselves a genuine piece of memorabilia,” said Judge. “The vehicle’s new owner will be able to enjoy the kind of luxury drive you can expect from a top of the range Italian beauty, as well as revel in the history this car has had in the hands of a music icon.”

Along with the car, you get some fun keepsakes, too. These include an official welcome letter from Maserati addressed to “Mr. John,” as well as the original V5 certificate and the car’s current license plate.

The Quattroporte is expected to sell for between £15,000 and £40,000 ($20,500-$55,000 USD), with the auction starting on February 18 and running until the 25th.
