Dashcam footage shared online by a trucker has captured the moment they were unexpectedly hit by two cars on a U.S. highway.
The TikTok video shows the red semi-truck traveling in the right-hand lane of the highway when a silver Mercedes-Benz E-Class slams into its left front wheel. Moments later, a dark grey car, which appears to be a Honda Fit, also rams into the side of the semi-truck.
The force of the impact sends the Mercedes-Benz fishtailing down the road before it slides out of control and comes to a rest on the side of the highway. Meanwhile, the Honda is shunted across the median strip. The quick-thinking trucker quickly pulled over to the side of the highway.

Some users on Reddit suggested heavy winds could have blown the cars into the side of the truck but as it turns out, the reason was quite different.
Taking to TikTok, the trucker said that the dark grey Honda rear-ended the Mercedes-Benz, pushing both cars into the truck. This explains why the front end of the Honda was crumpled and the airbags were deployed before it made contact with the truck.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the crash, while the truck suffered very little damage apart from some bent wheel studs and a scuffed bumper.
