A tuning company by the name of Avante Design is in the midst of developing a widebody kit for the BMW M4 that includes the removal of the car’s massive kidney grilles.

As these renderings reveal, at least two variants of the bodykit will be offered with one retaining the standard grille and one replacing it with grilles more akin to those of the current 8-Series. We’ll take the one with the smaller grilles, thank you.

The most extreme of the bodykits will feature flared front and rear wheel arches that add seven inches to the width of the sports car. Complementing these new arches will be a custom front bumper with new air intakes and a bespoke hood with a power bulge.

Elsewhere, the bodykit includes new air vents behind the front fenders, distinctive side skirts, and a revised rear fascia with a fixed wing.

Development work of the bodykit is said to be in its final stages. The kit will be produced in limited numbers.

The unveiling of this kit comes just a couple of weeks after BMW announced that it will recall 2019, 2020, and 2021 M3 and M4 models in North America due to improper welding that could result in a failure of the ABS. In addition to impacting the new M3, M3 Competition, M4, and M4 Competition, this recall involves various 7-Series, 8-Series, X5, X6, and X7 models.

H/T to Motor1!
