Rowan Atkinson’s fascination with cars is well known and now’s your opportunity to buy one of the actor’s very own race cars: a 1964 Ford Falcon.

Built to FIA-Homologated regulations and raced at Masters, HSCC, HRDC events, and Goodwood, this could be your entry into a very good time.

Atkinson has owned the car since 2006 and it has lately been prepared by John Freeman Racing. The garage just put the car through a pretty significant refreshing with a new radiator, aluminum bumpers, and a number of other improvements to the engine’s cooling system, that cost more than £7,000 in all.

Atkinson, though, hasn’t used the car in 2019 or 2020. Although it hasn’t been certified in recent years, Silverstone Auctions, which is handling the sale, says the paperwork has been applied and there’s no reason to think it won’t pass.

Finished in period-correct turquoise, this Falcon isn’t exclusively built for track racing. It’s also road-legal, meaning you could simply enjoy it of a Sunday or enter it into a number of rallies and tour events.

Powered by a beefy V8 that was recently rebuilt by Steve Warrior, the Falcon also comes with a spare set of wheels and tires, a limited-slip differential, and body molds.

Silverstone Auctions expects it to sell for between £55,000 and £65,000 (about $76,500 to $90,500 USD) when it rolls across the auction block on Sunday, March 27.
