Prior to the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship kicking off this weekend, Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz had the opportunity to test out both the SF90 Stradale and SF90 Spider at the famed Imola circuit.
This promotional clip put together by Ferrari features Leclerc behind the wheel of a yellow SF90 Spider, powersliding around the circuit before he is joined by new Ferrari F1 driver Carlos Sainz in an SF90 Stradale with the optional Assetto Fiorano upgrade package.
The two young drivers appear right at home behind the wheel of Ferrari’s most powerful production car, pushing the SF90s to their limits without breaking a sweat.

While it has been almost two years since the unveiling of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the SF90 Spider only debuted in November 2020. It is essentially identical to the coupe, although it does weigh 100 kg (220 lbs) more than the coupe because of the retractable roof mechanism, and the chassis reinforcements made.
Both the SF90 Stradale and SF90 Spider feature a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that pumps out 769 hp and works alongside three electric motors with an additional 217 hp. All up, the SF90 duo produce 986 hp and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque, are all-wheel drive, and rock an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Ferrari had a dismal year in Formula 1 during the 2020 season and will be hoping it can return to form this year. With one of the more exciting driver line-ups in the field, it certainly has the right ingredients to return to its winning ways.
