Ford has confirmed it has received more than 125,000 orders for the 2021 Bronco.
While the automaker started accepting reservations for the Bronco in mid-2020, it only started to accept orders in January and so far, roughly two-thirds of the 190,000 reservations have translated into actual orders.
“The demand… has just been overwhelming,” Ford’s consumer marketing manager Mark Grueber said. “We’re very excited and pleased with the conversion rate and very humbled in terms of the demand that’s out there. So, now we’re just focused on trying to get these customers their Broncos as soon as possible.”
Ford will begin ramping up production of the Bronco in the coming weeks with the first examples expected to arrive on dealership lots in June. Grueber added that roughly 70 per cent of orders are for higher-price trim levels, The Detroit News reports.

Some buyers will have to wait until 2022 to receive their vehicles, though, after Ford revealed it is having issues sourcing some of the available roof options. More specifically, the carmaker has had to delay deliveries of Bronco models equipped with the painted modular roof and dual-top roof because of a supplier facing coronavirus pandemic-related issues.
To appease buyers who will have to wait until next year, Ford is offering them 200,000 Ford Pass reward points that can be redeemed on service work or to buy accessories. Ford has also guaranteed that vehicle prices will not increase.
“It’s really just to thank them, because we know they all want to get that Bronco now and take it outdoors, but the wait is a little bit longer than we would like and we just want to thank them again for their loyalty and patience on this,” Grueber said.
